Sandy Creek's Langley |
Sadly, Langley passed away on 10/30/08 from pneumonia. We will really miss her beautiful face and gentle spirit. Langley was a stunning medium fawn female with large, solid bone and correct conformation Golden Starr babies are known for. Langley got her name because she was born while we were at an alpaca show in Syracuse. Thankfully, our friends and neighbors (Darren, Wendy, and Andrew Lang) noticed her little ears behind her mom in our pasture and sprung into action. They did such a great job getting the cria dried off, out of the rain, and off to a healthy start. We can't thank them enough for everything they did for her (and us). We also want to thank the wonderful doctors and vet techs at Cornell Animal Hospital. We knew Langley was in the best hands when we left her in their care. If anyone could have saved this little girl we knew they could, but she must have bigger plans to fulfill. |
