Lily has been one of the foundation females of our herd
since the beginning. In that time, she has had three beautiful crias for us.
Two of her offspring have been greys! Lily is the daughter of a medium rose grey sire and a maroon dam. This girl is definitely a grey in disguise. The skin pigment on her belly gives her secret away. Lily is a good mom who has birthed easily and has been attentive to her cria and has supplied them with plenty of milk. She has delivered all six of her cria without assistance and is truly an excellent production dam. At nine years old, Lily still amazes us with her easy attitude and matriarchal leadership in the herd. Lily's last two cria were both beautiful. Unfortunately, both Samson (2007) and Langley (2008), although they started life out fine, died a few days after birth due to hypothermia and pneumonia respectively. Both babies did well for the few days they were with us and will leave their footprints in our hearts forever. We believe both deaths were preventable and have taken precautions to help ensure it won't happen again. Neither death was genetic or had anything to do with Lily. To date, Lily has had four healthy, thriving cria. But, to set your mind at ease, we want to mention that we do back all our females with full reproductive guarantees.
