Ortiz takes after his Grey grand sire Dewey Meadows Jazz. His coloring is definitely all in the family.

When placing him second at the 2005 MAPACA Eastern Alpaca Jubilee, Dr. Julio Sumar commented on his typey head, straight legs, and conformationally correct body.

Ortiz is an easy leader and is gentle with children.
