Welcome to the Garlic Shed

We are currently taking reservations for the 2008 garlic crop. This garlic has become famous both locally and state-wide that you'll want to reserve yours early to make sure you get some. Garlic will be ready to ship after August 15, 2008 and can also be purchased at our farm stand to save on shipping.

All of our garlic is grown using organic methods. We use no chemical fertilizers or pest repellents so that all you get is 100% garlic.

We currently have two varieties for sale as well as mixed bags. Bags come in both 1 lb and 1/2 lb.
1 pound = $5.00/pound +shipping (NOTE: 1 pound of garlic is approximately 8-10 bulbs of garlic)
1/2 pound =  $2.50/pound +shipping  (NOTE: 1/2 pound of garlic is approximately 4-5 bulbs of garlic)

German Hardy has a large cloves with strong, raw flavor and a high sugar content, making it one of the very best for roasting. Good keeper.  Grown from certified organic planting stock.

German Red is a generally good-sized bulb. Being a Rocambole garlic, its flavor is very strong, hot and spicy and sticks around for a long time. It seems to have an especially rich taste. Easy to peel, big cloves. Great taste...one of our favorites! Stores for about 5-6 months in a cool, dark place.

      Mixed Bags The assorted bag has a mixture of both German Hardy and German Red. It's like a grab bag...so tell me...do you feel lucky? No luck needed here...everyone wins with this great garlic.
